Welcome to the online home of the Alta Youth Telemark program! Alta Youth Telemark (or AYT) is a seven week long ski group run through Alta’s Alf Engen Ski School. AYT is designed to teach telemark skiing to youth ages 10 to 16 who are either experinced alpine skiers new to telemark, or experienced telemark skiers.
2009 – 2010 is the second season for AYT and we are excited to yet again share our love of telemark skiing with the Alta community. We plan to continue our tradition of training skilled skiers who see the sport as a lifelong passion. We are proud to both provide students a learning opportunity and act as ambassadors for youth telemark. Look for us ripping up the slopes at Alta on Saturdays.
